    - Many want to know the problems, but do nothing about them.

   - He praised God (v. 5) 

   - He reminded the covenant between God and His people (V. 5, 8-9) 

   - He confessed his sins and his people's sins (6-7) 

 3. He planned (v. 2:5, 7-8) 

4. He Proceeded (v. 2:11-16) 

5. He Pesuaded (2:17-18) 

  - Got opposition (v. 19) 

  - He persuaded (v. 20)

THE SEVEN A'S OF CONFESSION

The Seven A's of Confession

Matt. 7:3-5; 1 John 1:8-9; Prov. 28:13 

• ADDRESS everyone involved (All those whom you affected) 
•  AVOID if, but, and maybe (Do not try to excuse your wrongs) 
•  ADMIT specifically (Both attitudes and actions) 
• ACKNOWLEDGE the hurt (Express sorrow for hurting someone) 
• ACCEPT the consequences (Such a making restitution) 
• ALTER your behavior (Change your attitudes and actions) 
• ASK for forgivness
